It needs tools kept separate from steel to prevent contamination and corrosion, different joining methods including rivets and structural adhesives, and technicians trained to use them. That's why we built a dedicated aluminum bay.
Aluminum work stays separate from steel dust and tools.
Our technicians are trained and certified to weld aluminum.
Panels are joined the way the manufacturer specifies.
Our workmanship is backed for as long as you own the vehicle.
Steel particles left on aluminum cause corrosion that shows up months later under the paint. Too much heat weakens the metal. A shop without the right setup may also replace parts that could have been repaired, or repair parts the manufacturer says must be replaced. Ask any shop how they handle aluminum before you leave your truck there.
